At three events so far this week, Westby stated “Linda McMahon says she is the only job creator in the race. That’s not exactly true. I have helped dozens of individual entrepreneurs start businesses, form corporations and more as well as assist Small Business owners to grow, expand activities and hire people. These types of businesses are the backbone of our economy.
They include doctors, dentists, retail, plumbers and carpenters, electricians, heating and cooling, among others. The truth is that it is small businesses like these that hire people.”
Westby added “What kind of jobs does Linda McMahon create? Here’s the truth:
"McMahon’s types of jobs include men bulked up on steroids and women prancing around the ring in bikinis, spiked hair, carrying whips and chains.”
Westby pointedly asked those in attendance “Are those the kind of jobs we want to create? Are these the proper role models for our children and our grandchildren? We know the right answer”
Regarding Chris Shays who was at Monday’s event, Westby said:
“The fact is Chris Shays spent time in the State Legislature; a second fact is Shays spent 21 years in Washington; and a third fact is he was rejected by 4th Congressional District voters in 2008 -- because - despite his claim to be fiscally conservative -- (just like the federal government) he grew into a big spending RINO.”
Westby added “Yes, I know you think I’m about to say ‘Three Facts are like Three Strikes, you’re out!” I could do that; but, rather I will ask you a simple question:
‘How many government pensions does any one politician get to collect? Is it one; two, three, four or more?”
The facts confirm that McMahon or Shays are not fiscally conservative or real Republicans; and, neither one knows what are the types of real jobs so needed by the real people of Connecticut.”

Today, Public Trust Candidate Kie Westby called on all Americans to demand action to “restore integrity in government at all levels”.
In a short video “How to Restore Integrity in Government” released today Westby asks citizens “Why is the public confidence in public officials so low… why is the Public Trust in incumbent leaders… so… so bad? And, why is… excellence… absent from government?”
Westby links the need for excellence in government to the classic definition of virtue -- “doing the right thing time after time… till it becomes a habit” -- and “… in a word… integrity” itself.
